  • clustering NLB

i ve a server with 2003 server enterprise (xeon 3.2 GHz; 12 Go RAM) with TSE
    (only one lan card)
i ve 40 users on this sever
    it s a bit slow

    * i would like to add a server 2003 standard (p4 2.8 2 go ram, one lan card)

how to have "load balancing" ??

Is it necessary that my second server have the same configuration (active directory ? tse ? same users ?)
and how to do NLB explicitely ?

    Re: clustering NLB

    Hey,

You didn't include information about the NLB setup, my guess is that you using MULTICAST with IGMP support.
To load blance TS's in a normal manner you need to have another component called Session Directory (can be installed on another low resource server) to manage user sessions.
Member-Servers of Session Directory component must have enterprise edition installed, for more information about the procedure read the link:

    Good luck.
