  • Remote desktop timer

When remote session open for a long time, the server locks the session when it's unused and it's needed to apply a password to reconnect to the session. I suppose there is a timer. How it's possible to extend session time?

    Re: Remote desktop timer

This is enabled / disabled via group policy.

Check out Computer Configuration - Administravative templates - Windows Components - Terminal services - Sessions and then the policy you want is 'Sets a time limit for active terminal services sessions'
