    Hello guys

    Does anybody know how to transfer the discretionary access control list from one folder to another?

    backup/restore will do it. Otherwise, subinacl (check ms downloads)

        in Windows XP and 2003 XCOPY will also help copy ACLs.

          Can you please tell me the exact format of xcopy to copy the acl from one folder to another? i need folder not file.
          xcopy /o should do it but it does it for files (i think)
