  • How to findout machines listening a particular port

    Hi,

I am looking for a windows based utility which can broadcast my request to network and findout howmany machines/ips are listening on the port I have given. Am I thinking too much? Nah!..nmap in unix does this but looking for same functionality in windows. I am not much flexible with Windows version of nmap.

Let me know if you are aware of any tool.

    Thanks,
    Sitaram

You should use open port security scanner like this 'classic' one:

    http://nmap.org/
    XEN Based VPS
    www.cloudvps.co.il

In windows env. I'm using "SuperScan 4"

      SuperScan 4

Allow you to scan a ip range and discover a list of host that have a specific tcp/udp port open.
