  • Cannot configure 32 bit printer driver settings on 64 bit Print Server

    Hi All,

I'm having problem in setting the printing driver defaults in x64 bit Print Server (W2k3 Std. R2 SP2 Domain Controllers).
Previously I was able to go to the Properties | Advanced | click on "Printing Defaults" button to make all the driver settings the same for client to use, the problem is that I have to install 32 bit driver as well and in the server I can only enable it for x64 bit driver which is working fine for 64 bit clients,

how to change the settings for the 32 bit driver so that the 32 bit client can have a black and white default printing ?

FYI: My printer is Fuji Xerox Document Center FXC-450

    Cheers,
    AWT

You need to boot up a 32bit client (like XP) and add the driver from that XP machine to the 64 bit print server. more here:

      Hi Bio,

Unfortunately no, I'm having problem in configuring the 32 bit printer driver only.

From the print server I can modify the x64 bit driver which workds for the 64 bit client but not the 32 bit clients.
