    I am having windows 2003 server before deploying any Application i need BEST SERVER PRACTICE which can be implement on Server.

    I think you need to clarify the question a lot more
    What are the roles the server will have?
    What environment (domain or workgroup) is it in
    What applications will you be using?
    What corporate "rules" are in place that you need to follow?

    And above all
    What experience of Microsoft technologies do you have?

      What are the roles the server will have? It can be any Server roles
      What environment (domain or workgroup) is it in : Environment will be Domain
      What applications will you be using? : it can be SQL , Oracle, Web Appl. , Exchange .
      What corporate "rules" are in place that you need to follow? Best Practice

      And above all
      What experience of Microsoft technologies do you have? Good

          see - this is too open ended a question.
          "Best Practice" for a domain controller, is vastly different for an MSSQL Server hosting multiple databases, on multiple SQL instances.

          Best practice is for an IIS Server in the IDC/DMZ is different for an IIS Server on an internal LAN....
