  • Set "Verbose Logging" in server for SP2 installatoin

    All:

Need to set up verbose logging in Servr 2003. My SP2 installation is failing with "Access denied". Odd I have never seen that before. I do NOT need the registry setting for verbose logon, log off and startup messages.

I don't want to just give full access to every registry key.

Please help, been looking for an hour in Google, MS.

    See this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/873148
Or use Process monitor from Sysinternals to find out what reg keys have been denied access during setup.

Tried the article you mentioned before, no good. Got little info from that. Also tried Regmon (not Process Monitor) and nothing. Did you mean Regmon?

No, I meant Process Monitor which has succeded Regmon and Filemon.
