Hello...I am building a new Windows 2003 server that is just being used as a stand alone server. This will not belong to a domain. I need to migrate all the 'local' users from the current box onto this box.

Wondering if anyone has accomplished this or what tools could be suggested to do this. I have about 80 users to migrate over.

I was thinking of using 'ntbackup' to backup the system state - wonder if that would do the trick?

What data do you want to migrate over, desktops and my docs?

Any reason you don't want a domain for 80 users?

Well although I rather would go for a domain this non-free tool might help, it's called server migrator..
I don't have any experience with this product but you can download an evaluation to test it out.
