    Re: Setup a File Server

A "File Server" is any computer that allows other computers to connect to it and access files. So, in reality, an old, crusty Windows 2000 Home workstation could be a "file server" (so long as you can handle the 10 user connection limit). It's very easy to install Server 2003, share out a folder and have people connect to it. Of course, if you want to monitor storage usage, quotas, access auditing and etc., then it can get a little more complex. I think that guide should be good for you.
