  • Multiple IIS Intranet Websites on W2K3 Server

    I have a windows 2003 server connected under a workgroup on my lan and what we are hoping to achieve is 3 lan websites on the server that can be accessed via:
    Site 1 = http://software/
    Site 2 = http://staff/
    Site 3 = http://testing/

    The only problem is I have no idea how to achieve this. We used to just have one (http://internal/) with sub folders off it when we were using XP Pro with the IIS 5.0 Snap-in but the needs have changed (as they do) and are now requiring multiple addresses instead of sub folders.

    There are 12 PCs on the network (all are running a vista version of some sort except the server) that are all able to access each others shared folders in their current state and I believe they have dynamic IPs as they are connected through a NextN Router.

    If possible I would prefer to use host headers unless someone has a better way to change the network config and make it all work they way I want without the $xxx.

    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    You already know about host headers so;
