  • How To Limit Replication in DFS

    Hi all.
A question on FRS in a DFS configuration: can I control the limit over the maximum dimension of a single "new" file or a whole "new" directory involved in the replication process?
To be clear: if I put a new big file (i.e. a 700mb iso) in a direcotry whic is replicated over a wan link can I prevent the replication for this particular file?
    Thanks in advance,

    Marcus

    Not that i'm aware of.

I know you can set the replication schedule so it may be worthwhile doing it out of hours.

I checked the options in the dfs snap-in and there's nothing about the control over the maximum byte replicable.
So is this the final statement? No control over the maximum byte to replicate?
