  • SIMPLE limit login solution

I have been asked to stop one user from logging in on multiple machines in our school. This teacher is a serial pest who insists on logging in on three computers in a staffroom. This causes problems. The other teachers in the staffroom are not using their home drives and they need some pursuading. I can't believe that this is so hard on W2003. I have struggled with LimitLogin for an hour and I cannot get it to install. When I get to the AD setup I get a (401) error. I've checked the passwords on the IUSR and IWAM and Windows Authentication is on - it's driving me a bit nuts.

Apart from paying a lot of money, is there another way? I would need to block maybe 4 users max (the other teachers will soon try the same trick

Thanks very much for your time.

In ADUC you can allow logon to certain machines only -- this could be a way of limiting the damage to other users by keeping two of the three machines free
