  • How to configure WSUS 3.0

    Hi, all

    I can't find any guaid how to configure WSUS 3.0 . I installed WSUS, I set up GPO for group of computer to use my wsus, but it is not working. I mean I have no copmuter in wsus window... it is empty... I have never install wsus or sus before. Any help ?

            1. RUN the WSUS setup wizard
            2. Add the GPO settings and make sure that GPO is applied to the required computers, there are few settings like set Automatic update enable, location, time etc
            2. Syn you WSUS to microsoft upate
            3. Run few comand line command to test and comupter are detecting the wsus server (Can't remember the command Google it)
            4. see if you computer can brows to your wsus server http://wsus on port 38** (something something)
            5. check the IIS is configure properly

            6. force gpudpate on server and pc's and see what happens
