    Hey guys,

    I feel rather silly asking this, however, I have had some issues as of late trying to get one of our servers to reboot automatically at a set time. I have the scheduled task running C:\reboot_server.bat. The batch file has this in it:

    shutdown.exe /r /t300

    Whenever it runs it gets the result code of 0x1.

    Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong?? I mean, its the simplest command yet, it doesnt work...

    The 0x1 code means one of the commands in the batch file has an invalid function. I believe you need a space between the t and the 300. So instead of /t300 it should be /t 300.

          wow.. I thought 0x1 was an authentication failure ?
