  • Linux as a client of windows

    I have two system. One is on windows 2000 advance server and other is on RED HAT linux 9. I wana to use the red hat system as a client. and 2000 as a server. I install active directory domain with the name ... pcit.com ...

    Plz help me how i connect linux with 2000 domain.

    As far as I know it's not possible to add the client as a member of the domain. You can connect for simple file sharing etc.

    Guy will be able to help your more as I think he's the resident RHCE.

      YES. You can add the Linux to AD.
      You need also Samba 3.0
