  • ntbackup: system state backup WITHOUT the protected files?

    Greetings!

I'm trying to setup a scheduled differental backup, using ntbackup, that among other things captures the system state but without backing up the 'system protected files' in the process. I know this can be done manually (magic check box) but I can find no way to do this either at the command line or from within a BKS script file. Finding a solution to this is important to me as it means about 600MB of unchanged stuff doesn't have to get backed up every night uselessly. This is a small component of my master backup plan so don't worry... I capture the system state when I do my weekly full backups.

has been useless in trying to sort this out so any assistance from here would GREATLY be appreciated.

    Thanks!
Working...
