  • WSUS: wsusutil movecontent?

Hi what exactly will this command do?
    wsusutil movecontent D:\WSUS <logfile>

From what i have read this command will copy update files from the old location to the new one. This is actually what i want because the C: drive is almost full and I want all the update files to automatically be saved in the other drive which have large available space. But my question is that if i execute that command successfuly do i still have to do something so that my WSUS server will run as if nothing happend just changed the directory of update files should be saved after sync? Or do i still have to reconfigure something to get my WSUS up and running?

I hope my question is clear..

    TIA

That's all you need to do. After the command has been completed succesfully the default location where WSUS stores updates will be changed to the new path you specify.

Got it Sir Thanks a lot.. I already moved what needs to be moved. Now I want to free up some space to My C: drive which is where updates where originally saved, so how do i do that without jeopardizing my WSUS?
      TIA
