  • 2003 TS in a 2000 Domain (Licenses)

    Hello all

i recently had another thread regarding a dodgy pagefile issue with our 2000 terminal server, so i flattened the machine and now have been told im "allowed" to spend money on getting server 2003 with the intention of running termainal services through it

at present we have a 2000 domain, i think a 2003 server will run happily in the domain, my issue is, will terminal services be ok with a 2000 DC and what happens regarding licenses? will the original 2000 TC licenses still be applicable?

    thanks all!

    Danny

        thank guys

so a 2003 terminal server in a 2000 domain is ok though?

        **update**

our existing TS cals will not be applicable to the newer o/s so any new server o/s will need all new ts-cals, which is nice!

Yes, as far as I am aware it is providing you have the relevant licensing.
