  • Server 2003 on a single partition

I have just recently installed server 2003 on a proliant 3000, using raid 5 to combine 3 physical drives as one logical c: drive.

Does anyone know if it posible to go ahead and install AD on this single partition?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Yes, I just did that a few days ago. though my hardware was an old Dell Poweredge 2400 w/ raid 5, the concept is still the same.

Sure, no problem. However, one reason to have the AD files on their own partitions is to make sure no other process fills the AD partitions. AD really doesn't like it when it runs out of diskspace. Other then that, no problem.
