When DNS is installed automatically while installing ADS, lots of records like MSCDS ets, tp, ip are created. While if we configure DNS manually we just create foward zone, soa record is in it and host records. What are they for? Can any body give me a link or way how to manually create those records. What is there importance.....Thanks

    Re: DNS records

Install Support Tool and run DCDIAG /FIX from the CMD Prompt. See if that fixes the structure.
