Re: noy able to connect domain

What exactly is the problem you are having? You can ping the workstation from the server but can't ping the server from the workstation? With the vast amount of detail you've provided, it could be down to a huge number of things.

Check that the firewall on the server is not configured to discard ICMP?

Any other firewalls between the servers and the clients?

    What is your network structure?

We need detail to be able to help.

Re: noy able to connect domain

You can't ping either DC from XP? Are you trying to ping by hostname or by IP (should have tried both?)

If the name doesn't resolve, check DNS. If it does, then we need more info on your network. See my other comments from my previous post.

Assuming you have followed my suggestions rather than ignored them, and have just not posted back the results, then reinstall Windows on the failed server and restore it from your backup. There's little more anybody can suggest if you don't give more detail. Can you get into safe mode on the failed server?

You need to tell us what you have tried already.
