  • Restrict account access on logon..

    Good day all:

I am in the process of creating VPN accounts for external users. I would like to make it so when they connect to our TS they will go directly into the directory they need to have access to and nothing else. Anyway this can be accomplished? Logon script, profile path?

You can restrict the environement using GP as much as possible, map the directory using a logon script (net use or subst) and hide + restrict access to all drives except the the drive you want them to see.
You can use GPHideDrives (http://www.smart-x.com/?CategoryID=1...cleID=91&sng=1) to restrict exactly the drives you need.

A personal note on the link that Smart-X provided - The tool they referenced is indeed free for use, so I allowed it. Thanks Smart-X!
