  • Adding MIME types globally through command prompt

    Hey all,

I was wondering if anybody knew of a way to add MIME types to IIS 5.0 & 6.0 via command prompt. I have about 100 web servers I want to add Office 2007 MIME types to and it'll take forever if I have to do them one at a time. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    -Phrancie

You can try the adsutil.vbs script which is per default included in the IIS installation.
    you can review this article...

However, closely investigate the script before putting it in production.
