Basic IIS question

  • Basic IIS question

    I may have added the files to the website wrong, I'm not sure.

    Issue: works
    Problem: www. directory listing denied - same for all sub folders.

    I come from an apache background, so I just dragged the website into the c:\Inetpub\wwwroot folder and thought it would work.

    The permissions appear to be the same on the parent folder as they are on ther subfolder.

    Any ideas?

    oops had the subdirectory spelled wrong.

      What permissions are you looking at, IIS or NTFS? Make sure that they're all correct.
