  • Wintel Server !!!

    Can somebody please tell me about Wintel servers? What is Wintel, is it a software, hardware? Is it a mainframe? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

      I'd also HIGHLY recommend using GOOGLE, as the first search result for WINTEL has a lot of info.

        So are these Wintel Server are any different from normal Dell, HP, Compaq servers with Intel QuadProc etc etc which run on Windows 2003/2008 OS?

            Nope any server powered by an Intel chip and running windows is called a Wintel machine.
