  • DFS failback no work?

    win2003 R2 sp2 and client winxp sp3

client's desktop folder redirect to ( file server A Syn with file server B).

file server A is first node.

    Test Case:
disable file server A Lan connection.
client is waiting a long time, then the desktop folder redirect to file server B..

when enable file server B Lan connection, client still connect to file server B.
i have logout N times to try, but client still connect to file server B.

the failback hotfix already include win2003 sp2 and winxp sp3

there is an MS Update patch for this.
An update is available to support the DFS Namespaces Client failback feature on Windows Server 2003 SP1-based computers and on Windows XP SP2-based computers
