    which type is better?

    Is Domain Based cannot support Roaming Profiles?

    Domain based is better if you have access to a domain. I'll be honest I tried to use DFS-R to replicate profiles to branches for roaming users. It replicated fine but in all honesty it didn't work well. By all mean's try. I think my issue was more related to vbscripts.

      A roaming profile is not loaded from a DFS share???
