    i get this error whe visit windows update page, if anyone can help me?

    What OS?

    Can you post the exact error that you are getting for example (Initialization error 0x80070052) while loading the windows update site.

        Oh yes... LOL the famous IE error. Just Right click IE on your desktop And del all the files,links, History. Be sure to clean out the Prefetch folder In Windows. To see it, just unhide the folders.. BTW, clean out the hidden Temp Folder. Start, Run, %TEMP%. Edit select all. Shift ket and del. Lifes Good. Run disk cleanup after a reboot. You should be good for the go.
        But some times Win update is down too. Happy Hoildays ENJOY.

          Check the time on the machine you are trying to update. If it is too far out of sync with the Update Server you will get an error similar to yours.
          1 1 was a racehorse.

            This is caused by incorrect windows time setting. Just make sure you have correct date and time set. Try updating now, it will work
