    It isn't a good method to block sites as there are mutiple workarounds but just create a record for that site and set it to 127.0.0.1.

        Using DNS is possible but it's a bit a poor mans solution. I wouldn't recommend to use it but ok, if that is what it takes...

        Anyhow, there are also other solutions out there and maybe you might tell a bit about your environment like firewalls etc.
