  • How to Setup Anonympus Shares / Null Session Shares

i need a guide/url for achieving Anonymous / Null Session SMB Shares
    (Windows Shares )
one more thing , do we need to enable/provide any User account for getting Anonymous Logons ( mainly Guest acc as it don,t require any pass @ network logons )
    One guide is here
    http://www.tcm.phy.cam.ac.uk/~mr349/windows/anonymous_network_logon_print_server.html

But the same question here , why any User acc ( guest in this case ) is being enabled for getting anonymous / null shares

I m considering Workgroup Model nd not the Domain Model

Why??? you are creating a security hole if you allow null sessions

Assign "ANONYMOUS LOGON" to the ACL.

          As i had done this
Network Access: let everyone permissions apply to anonymous users: enabled

and Assigned Everyone Group on the ACL , there is no fun for explicty assigning ANONYMOUS LOGON , but i had tried that too , but still when i try to browse the Targetted System ( a xp-sp2-box ) , it asks for Credentials
