  • TCP/IP Filtering

    Hi,

On our webserver, i have configured the TCP/IP filtering to allow ftp ports 20 and 21 and http 80. When i try to connect to the webserver via ftp, i get a logon prompt and then it fails to connect. If i use cmd prompt, it works ok. What other tcp ports do i have to allow to enbable FTP via windows explorer?

    Re: TCP/IP Filtering

I think we need more information about your webserver.
Do you have any ipsec policy on the network?
Is your IIS working properly on the server,Have you tried to restart IIS service?
Have you tried to restart ftp publishing service?
Do you have any anti-virus on the server?

      Re: TCP/IP Filtering

The browser works only on active ftp when you have enabled the "Enable Folder View for FTP sites"
However, Have you checked if FTP worked before you enabled portfiltering?
