  • install and use admin pak tools

im having problems when trying to install or access the admin pak tools in a mcse 2003 virtual pc lab(windows server 2003 sp1 as domaincontroller+windows xp sp2 as workstation)
i have two jobs to do:
    1)install the admin pak tools:
i have to log in the domain from the workstation and run \\domaincontroller\admin_tools
and install adminpak.msi(not to install admin pak tools from the 2003 server cd because an ordinary user should not have permission or rights to the admin tools)
the first step is a preparation for the second step which is
2)install the group policy management console on the client:
i have to connect to \\domaincontroller\admin_tools(from the first step),double click the dotnetfx.exe file to install the microsoft .net framework 1.1 and click install and double click the gpmc.msi in the admin_tools folder to install the group policy management console.
so my problem is in the first step:
when i try to run \\domaincontroller\admin_tools,i get the message of no network provider accepted the given network path.
    any help would be appreciated
    thx
