  • Move DC within domain to another site

I need to move a domain controller from on site to another site, because that site is being closed.
Is this easy to perform, by just changing the IP-adres and change the DNS?
The server will not be renamed.

Move it in Active Direrctory Sites and Services, and change the IP to the correct subnet (new DNS, Gateway etc.)

There should be no other issues

Except that it might break replication if its looking at itself as a DNS server.

Change the primary DNS server to another DNS server
      Change IP
      Restart netlogon
Give plently of time for replication
Change the primary DNS server back to itself
