  • Creating a trusted certificate.

    Hi everyone,

I'm running on windows 2000 server. How can I create a certificate? The user is asking me to give a PKCS#12 certificate file to him. So he could import it to his pda phone that will able him to use our network using WI-FI. Any ideas how to accomplish this?

Errr there is a bit more than giving a certificate and you have access via wifi.

How did you configured your wireless?
Have you installed and configured Radius?
    Have you setup 802.1x authentication?
Do you already installed a CA?

I set it up with a static IP address with the Preferred and alternate DNS addresses.

Sorry If my answers are vague but the IT administrator who was managing the network no longer employed and I don't think they're going to hire another IT administrator soon. But I'm willing to learn.
