      sorry my english.
      let me explant again:
      1. I an running NT4 with DHCP WINS DNS (exchange server), everything running smooth, i am trying to install BDC and backup domain controller, all serives still running fine, user can access resources and share printer, but if i shutdown BDC all users cannot access any resources like printer or shared files. I did not configured anything in the BDC.

      2. please guide to have documentations about Upgrade and Migrade for NT or 2000 to Windows 2003.

      Thanks

          Is it an SBS 4.X server

          HI.

          Is your NT4 PDC an SBS 4.X server?
          If so, then this is probably the cause of the problem - SBS NT4 servers do not support additional domain controllers.

          If not, recheck your Event Viewer logs on both servers.
          Note especially NETLOGON related events.
          Try to use SERVER MANAGER and "Synchronize Entire Domain" when both servers are online.

          Verify that both servers are patched with SP6a.

          Please also describe the installation process for the BDC -
          How exactly did you install it?
          Did it synchronize with the PDC during install?

          How did you set up WINS for the second DC?
