    Hi All

    iam trying to upgrade windows 2003 standard edition to windows 2008 standard edition, i stuck up in one problem now, when i try to upgrade domainprep its says the following messge : adprep detected that the domain is not in native mode.
    adprep has stopped without making changes. confgure the domain to run in native mode and re run-domain prep....

    i have only windows 2003 servers no 2000 and our clients system are windows XP pro.. i want to know raise this to native mode is there any disadvantges ?

    No disadvantages to raising the functional level.

    First raise the domain level

    Then raise the Forest level
