  • Prblem with my Exchange 2003 Server

I have a problem with my Exchange 2003 Service (SP2). The domain controller is on a different machine, and I checked out the DNS via nslookup and the Mail Server is successfully replied with its entry. I can not access my server via remote desktop with its name, but i'm still able to access it via IP address.

I can not even use the outlook to connect to the server as Exchange Server connection, bit I'm still to get into it via web (IIS), IMAP4, POP3, and SMTP.

All the time I receive errors with Remote Procedure Call (RPC) and failure.

    Can anyone assist me?

check the eventlog on the exchange server to see if there are any errors.
What happens when you try to ping the FQDN of the exchange box (host.domain.local) from another machine - does it resolve?

can we get some info from the Event Log please
once you got it you can check for a solution your self via evet.net or support.microsoft.com
or alternativly write the error codes for us to get better understanding
