    hi all!!!
    Help me to create next:

    Ubuntu server 8.04 (or other Linux OS) with installled and configured BIND DNS Server
    ip1: internet - 222.222.222.222
    ip2: local - 192.168.222.222

    and Windows Server 2003 with local ip 192.168.222.111

    Create Active Directory on Windows Server 2003 but with BIND DNS Server on Ubuntu???

      AFAIK it should be possible.

      However, why do you want to use ubuntu DNS instead of Windows DNS?

        I'm sure I read BIND, beyond a certain version, will work with AD. I read this a long time ago so would imagine Ubuntu will work. Why not just use Windows AD though?
        Also please lay off the !!! and ??? seeing these being spammed tempted me to not even bother reading/replying to this thread.
