Hi, I recently installed WSUS and everything went well until I added Active Directory to the machine. Now it won't run when I sign on with my domain login information. Anyone knows how to get this working. I tried uninstalling it but it wont let me and I can't login locally with the administrator account in which I installed it under as well.

Also, the only option to login into is the domain, and no local login is available, its just blank. What are my options here?

    Thanks

AD is not an object you can add to a PC. What did you do exactly? To fix it, reverse what you did.

Did you make the PC a domain controller? If so, I would not have WSUS on it as well.

You can login locally by rebooting the DC in DS restore mode however I'm not sure whether that would help or not.

      This may help too?

Scroll to the bottom if you don't have a login.

I got a little farther by using the cleanup utility from Microsoft. I tried reinstalling but got an error. I'll try it again today and let you know.

          Re: Wsus

The cleanup util was at the end of the EE link.

This may be worth a look as well but be careful of course...
