OK... first goto add remove programs, select windows components, select IIS, tick FTP. TADA! You have installed FTP on your XP pro pc! To configure it goto Administrative tools, Internet information Services.
    Server 2000 MCP
Development: ASP, ASP.Net, PHP, VB, VB.Net, MySQL, MSSQL - Check out my blog http://tonyyeb.blogspot.com

Don't enable write access for anonymous access or you'll probably get hit by a script kiddie. They usually will create 100's of folders and/or filenames with restricted names (which are a pain to delete) and/or serve porn off your server.
