    Hi
I installed our 2003 server yesterday, and got a big problem with find a sullution to share the internet in our network. Internet works on the server but i can't share so other computers can access the internet connection. I have tested to reinstall both networkcards but that solv nothing so i figured out someting must be wrong whit the sharing of the internet. The computers have contact with the server but they don't get access to the internet and i have installed Dhcp a and AD and all computer is getting ip by DHCP. I can ping the server IP but i can't ping ex. www.sunet.se from the computers in the network.

We haven't got a proxyserver on the machine and we don't connect through a proxyserver either.
Anything else you need to know?

Is your DNS set to forward to the DNS ip of your ISP? You should really look at proxy server or/and ISA.

          yeah:
          you're network setup..
          maybe a drawing.

how do you want to connect you're clients to the internet? through this server? how many clients?

You need someway to find to share(/route to) the internet.. so thats why i asking for if you got a proxy.

is it for private use or bussiness?
buy ISA for security and proxyfunction (for example) or use ICS (Internet connection Sharing) almost no security and not really manageble for home use

I want to connect about 15 computers through a switc connected to the server, that is connected to the internet (DMZ).
It's intened to handle a computerroom in a school, with a quite limited buget.

We have gotten so far that we have realized that it is in the sharing part that our problem is, we have a shared connection on one of the NIC.

Is the Default Gateway being assigned by DHCP?
Can you ping the Default Gateway?

How are you trying to share your Internet connection?
