  • dynamic volume mirror recovery

I would like to know how to recover from 1 disk failure in mirror (dynamic volume)
    windows 2000 server.
    1. if one disk fail server will continue to work

    2. let say second disk failed. It should be simply replaced and rebuild

    3. If first disk failed. Server will continue to work. But after shutdown will not boot
from 2 drive. How boot.ini should be changed.
May be will be a good idea just to keep boot.ini ready for this situation.

Is all above correct? And how to prepare to this event.

    Thx.

Swaping the disk slots is also a workaround if you do not know to edit boot.ini........
