  • Quick & easy one. 2003 Integration!

    Hello Folks.

I have a windows 2000 domain. I now wish to add a windows 2003 member server to this domain.

One simple confusion which needs sorting out.

Do i still have to run forest and domain prep beforehand? or can i just add it straight in (considering its only gonna be a member and not a DC)

Thanks for your help. I await your advice.

No you dont. You would only run forest and domain prep if you were upgrading your domain to a Win 2003 domain. Just add the server as you would any other.
