  • SRV Records Question

    If I launch this command :

    nslookup -type=SRV _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.domain.local

    I have my Dcs and also others clients machines !!

    _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.domain.local SRV service location:
    priority = 0
    weight = 100
    port = 389
    svr hostname = dc1.domain.local

    _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.domain.local SRV service location:
    priority = 0
    weight = 100
    port = 389
    svr hostname = dc2.domain.local
    _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.rallencorp.com SRV service location:
    priority = 0
    weight = 100
    port = 389
    svr hostname = Pc1.domain.local

    Pc2.domain.local Internet address=192.168.1.2
    Pc3.domain.local Internet address=192.168.1.2

    Normaly , only Dcs must be in this Output.

    Any Idea.

    Thank You.

    Re: SRV Records Question

    1. Make sure any ldap (e.g. ADAM) is not running on these PCs.
    2. After ensuring 1st point check the SRV records on DNS and delete unwanted records from there.
