  • Time Sync Problems

I have a Windows 2003 DC at remote a location as the master and two DC's here at the office with one as the Primary and the other Secondary and both sync with the master. The secondary does DHCP and the master is the "time server."

I have a few machines that do not sync time with the master and when I check the time with the "net time" command from one machine I get "GMT -700 hrs" or something like that. The funny thing is this PC's time is off by one hour and we are PST and off by one hour from that.

Why would this PC tell me that the master is GMT while non of the others gave me this message? Is it something to do with the machine itself, or would it have to do with this DST patch I've been hearing about?

    TIA

If the machine does not have the DST2007 patch then that is most likely the problem. Check and correct that first.

What OS is the machine running?
