  • Routing with 2K3 server

I'm missing something but I can't figure out what (and no it's not sanity!)

    I have 2 networks 192.168.100.0 and 192.168.101.0 both with subnet mask 255.255.255.0

On the 192.168.100.0 network I have and SBS2003 server at 192.168.100.20, a W2K3 server at 192.168.100.22 and a router to the internet at 192.168.100.1

    On the 192.168.101.0 network I have a W2K3 server at 192.168.101.20.

I want clients on the 101 network to be able to access the internet via the 100 network. I have put an extra network card into the server at 192.168.101.20 and given it an address of 192.168.100.24. From this server I can access the internet with no problems but not from the clients. I have enabled IP routing via RRAS.
The 2 NICs in server are configured as follows:

    IP: 192.168.100.24
    Subnet: 255.255.255.0
    Gateway: 192.168.100.1
    DNS: 127.0.0.1
    DNS: 192.168.101.20

    IP: 192.168.101.20
    Subnet: 255.255.255.0
    Gateway: 192.168.100.24
    DNS: 127.0.0.1

    route print shows
    Code:

Any ideas before I pull more of my hair out?

Looks like your internet router does not know 192.168.101.0/24. Where should it send the return packets destined for that subnet? Define a static route on the internet router pointing 192.168.101.0/24 to 192.168.100.24 and all should be well.
