  • Windows Server 2003 Network

Hi guys, I'm having some problems with my setup.

I'm running a Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition, running as a domain server.

Logging on from my Windows XP machine takes about 2 minutes when logging onto the domain.

I have Googled and done the following:

Under Computer Configuration-->Administrative Templates-->System-->Logon, change "Always wait for the network at computer startup and logon" to ENABLED

Tried using manual TCP/IP confiuration (IP, gateway, DNS server) (The server is running DHCP - address is picked up fine by the client.)

Basically pretty much anything you can find on Google. Any tips?

When I run rsop.msc from the command line I got an error about invalid data and namespaces (I think - I've had to log on locally to write this). It was definately something like that.

Check the DNS server and see if there is an A Record entry for the XP PC.
    1 1 was a racehorse.
    2 2 was 1 2.
    1 1 1 1 race 1 day,
    2 2 1 1 2
