  • How to empty "Recycle Bin" during startup

    Hi,

    How can we empty "Recycle Bin" during computer start-up?

    We want to do it for a bunch of computers so we are looking if there is any command line or any other option which can be used in startup script......

    Thanks.............

    This is a way to do it:

    @ECHO OFF
    ATTRIB -S -H /S /D %SYSTEMDRIVE%\RECYCLER\*
    RD /S /Q %SYSTEMDRIVE%\RECYCLER
    MD %SYSTEMDRIVE%\RECYCLER

    Any advice I give is to the best of my knowledge, there is no guarantee what so ever that it will actually work in your particular scenario. I will not accept any responsibility for unexpected consequences, after all - you are taking advice from a complete stranger over the internet. =)

      Might be better doing this in a log off script.
