    Hi All,

    I got few problem with our Company SOE and please give your thoughts .

    Issue 1.

    All the PC's are P4 and windows xp's + Office 2003. Now we can not buy office 2003 OEM and Open License are double the price. So what we have to do?

    Issue 2.

    When they going to stop window XP OEM ? Our Account Software only run on Windows XP and they only support this versionon XP?

    Issue 3.

    How we should manage all our Microsoft licensing?

    Issues 4.

    What is the best way to manage all the 150 Workstation with the locking down?

    How big companies manage their SOE?

      Microsoft Licensing is quite hard to understand.
      If I were you I would contact Microsoft or you're Microsoft sales representive.

        As already noted contact Microsoft on licensing details, they have huge call centres and reps to deal with license management. How we should manage all our Microsoft licensing? Is a question that will bring most techies to their knees in tears.

        Open source alternatives are available such as OpenOffice and we'll need additional details to help with issue 4.
