  • Isa Server Routing with 3 NIC

    Hello,

Here's the LAN configuration. The LAN has (3 servers) Server A: (DHCP,DNS,AD), Server B: (Exchange Server) Server C: (ISA – with 2 NIC). The ISA server NIC’ s are configured as follows: NIC1: – LAN 10.10.50.82, NIC2: Internet DSL router 192.168.1.20. The private network use 10.10.50.1 to 10.20.50.254 ip address. The current system works great. I also have a VOIP Server connected to my LAN via a Layer-2 Switch. VOIP server is on VLAN 2 , all other servers and WS are connected to VLAN 1.

What I what like to do is add a third NIC –( ip Address 172.17.1.99) to the ISA server to allow key user to connect to the VOIP server. The VOIP server IP address is 172.17.1.5.

My problem is how do I set up the routing to enable communication between the key users. The user will login to the VOIP server using http://172.17.1.2.

    Thanks

A three legs ISA 2000 server is almost inpossible.
I've tried it to setup something like you, but i didn't got it working.. Also i never found a well known document how to setup such a network. maybe someone else who got it working

ISA 2004 supports it, but i personaly think that isa isn't the firewall you should choose. its better to buy a product which its speciality (like check point)
